FrenchFoodie: I most absolutely agree. They are just ducks and geese. If you Americans can eat chicken by the bucket full, why are you complaining about a duck? Yeah, the thought of force feeding a duck or goose is indeed quite disturbing, but hey, we pay big bucks for the the stuff. One duck’s suffering keeps a family alive. And yeah, sure, save the ducks! Who cares about the forests of the world and the endangered species within them? So… JOG ON. Friggin hypocrites.

Oh, btw, I just had Foie Gras a week ago and I LOVED IT. >:P

Actually, the method to make foie gras is called gavage, not gravage.
It is traditionnal french food, and when not industrially made, it’s certainly not torture. Of course animals feel pain, but we eat them anyway. Don’t be self righteous.
I understand why some americans would get upset and aggressive over defending ducks and geese. May I suggest PETA and other angry vegans turn their attention to actual children of the world that are enduring worse pain because of the american government’s actions? Its ducks, guys. People are dying so you can afford to drive your car to work every morning. Get over yourselves.
