Why is it so hard to make something that is both powerful and beautiful?
Where are the works of such marvelous beauty that we quiver as we do by viewing some of the skillful monstrosities purpusefully inflicted here?
Where is the artist who wants me to smile?

I think it’s something you have to see in person. I went to it when it was in Vegas, and there’s just a sense of awe. It isn’t just a skeleton or mummy or ‘bog body’; it’s carefully showing you your body, in artistic and tasteful ways. For example, the picture of the mother included in the list strikes me as almost beautiful.

Perhaps it’s something you need to experience yourself. It might have just been me, but there was a weight about the whole thing, and, for me at least, it made me realize just how fragile life is. ‘Memento mori’ and all that.

Though I will say the meat dresses are just strange. xD
