I went to school with James Hogue in junior high and high school. The junior high track coach called him “Hollywood” because he trained and competed with sunglasses on. He eventually went on to wear jingle bells on his laces to mind play his opponents. I knew him to be a loner type who rarely conversed or hardly made eye contact. I watched the documentary about him called “Con Man” which included interviews of a guy he befriended in high school and the track coach from high school when he really was who he actually was supposed to be. I was a member of both track teams with him in junior high and high school in Kansas City, Kansas. I wonder what he’s up to now????
