I don’t know if I am hmoornal or what but this post made me tear up. I have been realizing lately that even though I know I can’t go back, I still keep looking forward to what’s ahead instead of what is going on now. Chuck just told me yesterday about that. It makes me sad that I will never, ever experience those early days again. Those days when you are exhausted from sleeplessness but you just want to watch your newborn sleep because it’s so amazing that this tiny, wonderful baby came from you. I always try to tell new parents to enjoy it all because it flies by so quickly but it all sounds so cliche’ when we say it.Priscillas last blog post..

Hello Charlotte. I must wholeheartedly agree with your post about Elizabeth I. I do believe that I mentioned it before on this list, and how people think of her as a ruthless and unsympathetic leader. No, she did well for the country of England. But one of the many things that “made” her unlikable to people’s opinion about her was the fact that her father was Henry VIII. And as we all know, he was a rather cold-blooded human himself. I suppose if my own father were to behead my own mother, I would be a bit emotionally angered myself.

She, not wanting persecution in her country, introduced a religion of Protestantism with the freedom of Catholic worship. Her brutality only centered around attempting to save herself or her country (for example, she reluctantly chopped of Mary, Queen of Scots head because if she had not, a civil war would have brewed in England between the Catholics and the Protestants). In her almost-fifty years she did not murder as many people as Mary had in her five years. Therefore, she shouldn’t even b mentioned.
