It’s true, The tv show myth busters tried it, bamboo is so strong to allow it to push through rocky terrain and it grows up to 6 inches in a day. On the show they tied a body made from Ballistics gel onto a bamboo plant and in two days three stalks had pushed through the “body”. There were many reports of this being used in POW camps.

Well, I am not to well versed on methods of execution. But to me a painful and torturous type of execution would be to tie an individual tightly to a long table by his hands and feet so that he / she is incapable of moving. The executioner would make a fist. Then he would take his fist and completely break his / her nose and then the executioner would take the lower portion on his hand above the wrist and as hard as the executioner could, shove his / her broken nose into the cranium of his / her upper skull causing a cerebral hemmorage into the brain resulting in death within 30 seconds.
