		<description>To add up the numbers 1 to x (any number) :-

multiply x by (x + 1) and then half the result

For example to add the numbers from 1 to 10 :-

10 x 11 = 110
110 / 2 = 55  (you can check this by doing 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 on a calculator or in your head)

This works for any whole number</description>

If you need to square a 2 digit number ending in 5, you can do so very easily with this trick. Mulitply the first digit by itself + 1, and put 25 on the end. That is all!
25 square(2) = (2x(2+1)) &amp; 25
2 x 3 = 6
625

but what about 45 square
45 * 45 = (4*(4+1))&amp;45
= (4*5)&amp; 45
=2045 but
answer is 2025</description>
