can you at least edit some comments that seems to create nonsense and is utterly offensive. some sites do that specially on message boards. i am a professor and i let my students visit the site and require them to submit their educated criticism on the way you rank your lists. it is just disappointing that other people seems to undervalue your efforts and is just wasting the privilege on the opportunity to create an interesting discussion on your site.

I am a regular reader of this site. I thoroughly enjoy just about every list I read, with one single exception, this one - http://listverse.com/2008/09/04/top-10-men-who-were-really-women/

I found it highly insensitive and offensive. I am transgender and I feel that this list promotes a negative and 'other' image of transgender individuals. Please consider making revisions to that article. Use the proper pronouns for the men that you refer to.

And please, if nothing else but to honor the close to 100 women killed every year for simply being who they are, I call upon your basic human decency to not publish '10 women who were really men'.

Thanks for listening and keep up the good work!

I read he message from J-farter, and decided to look listverse up on alexia, good news, you are now nr 8,430 most popular, which is like nr 1 on the internet :)
the site is doing well, but i think that it would do better with a little more interactive home-page.

@SyKu (<a href='#comment-217484' rel="nofollow">148</a>): try turning on your pop-up killer. It's in your browser under options usually.

1- the website makes my machine slow and takes alot of ram whenever I open multiple tabs of it by any web browser after some time the web browser stops responding.
2- there's something that you don't always do and I suggest to do it always, listing descendingly, for example if there was a list for top 10 worst massacres in history "I suggest you create on if there isn't" the list should begin with number 10 which is horrible but not the worst so that the reader will read the best or the most interesting last.
3- mentioning the references where you got the information from all the times or as much as you can.

I like the site as it currently is. It is just about as bad as TV Tropes for eating away a day.
