Fetishism can become a crippling aspect to a person’s life, and often requires psychological treatment. This is a list of the 10 most bizarre (and revolting) fetishes.
1. Furry Fandom
Furry Fandom is the classification given to people who like to dress up as anthropomorphic animals, or watch others do so. Members of this fandom watch pornography of people dressed in animal suits, and engage in the sexual acts themselves. Sometimes this can merely involve non-sexual touch and rubbing whilst in costume.
2. Teratophilia
Teratophilia is the sexual attraction to deformed or monstrous people. One version of Teratophilia is acrotomophilia, sexual attraction to amputees. Considerable commercial and amateur erotica is published apparently targeting people with such a sexual attraction. Persons attracted to amputees in particular are said to be engaging in amputee fetishism.
3. Urolagnia
Urolagnia is when a person derives sexual pleasure from urinating or watching others urinate. In some cases this can lead to urophagia, the consumption of urine. A great deal of pornography has been created for this fetish. Urolagnia is also known as “watersports” or “golden showers”.
4. Emetophilia
This fetish involves vomiting or watching others vomit. This fetish is also known as a Roman Shower when the participants actively vomit on each other. A website dedicated to this fetish says: “vomiting was probably something either arousing or frightening to emetophiles at some point … it aroused powerful emotions, and the emetophier called upon these emotions for the purpose of sexual gratification.”
5. Blood Fetish
This fetish is when a person derives satisfaction from watching someone bleed, or simply seeing blood on partly or entirely naked skin. There is a large community around this fetish, however due to its controversial nature, it tends to remain underground. Blood fetishism is often accompanied by some licking or drinking blood through bloodletting. This is sometimes done by biting (referred to as “love-bites” though they are technically not) however this is not the norm due to the potential for damage from bruising or infection. Most often a razor blade is used.
6. Coprophilia
Coprophilia is the sexual pleasure derived from feces. The fetish can involve defecating on a partner which is called “human toilet”. This frequently includes defecating in the mouth of the other person. Coprophilia can also include coprophagia, which is the consumption of fecal matter. This can lead to serious health risks.
7. Crush Fetish
A crush fetish is a desire to see small insects or animals crushed to death. Inanimate objects, such as cigarettes, fruit or toy cars, can also be crush fetish stimuli. The legality of crush erotica and the actual practice of crushing varies by region. There are currently no known laws forbidding the crushing of objects and insects, however the production or trade of crush erotica involving live vertebrates is condemned by animal rights activists and is illegal in many countries including the United States and Great Britain.
8. Klismaphilia
Klismaphilia is the fetish in which pleasure is derived from enemas. It is sometimes regarded as a form of anal masturbation. There are many movies, magazines and websites devoted specifically to this fetish. Most klismaphiles are heterosexuals, with the female being the one receiving the enema, and the male administering it to her.
9. Necrophilia
Necrophilia is a sexual attraction to human corpses. This fetish can lead to grave-robbing and sexual activity with the dead body. In the United States, no federal law exists to outlaw this act, but several states regard it as a misdemeanor or felony.
10. Omorashi
Omorashi is a fetish subculture in Japan. It is arousal from the feeling of having a full bladder. For such fetishists, climax usually coincides with the moment of relief and embarrassment experienced when the desperate individual loses bladder control. Though there is a small community devoted to such fetishism outside of Japan, it is usually overshadowed by the more hardcore fetishes, urolagnia and urophagia. Most omorashi videos are among the most softcore of erotica, featuring innocent young women, fully clothed, who have gotten themselves into an embarrassing bathroom situation. Commonly featured are schoolgirls, female working professionals, and other women attempting to look dignified before succumbing to the urge to childishly wet themselves.

I really wish you wouldn’t say “members of this fandom will” and instead say “SOME members of this fandom”, or a “small amount of the fandom will..” watch prnography with etc etc etc. This is a broad generalization to a fandom that majorly is built on something innocent. A big part of the making of John Water’s last film, “A Dirty Shame”, was in researching and including, for comic relief, as many odd and bizarre fetishes and the terminology, that they could. I had borrowed the film from the library (yes it was at the library-thank Hairspray) and the extras that are included on the dvd have a section of interviews based on such odd ball fetishes.

I think “furries” as a fetish are primarily disturbing to us because of their association in the collective subconcious with children and innocence. Also, while I’m not saying that I’ve any actual proof in the matter I can see crushing small things as developing into a fetish. If you think about the moment of squishing a bug it has a similiar symbolic imagery to sexual release.

I took a “Human Sexuality” course when I was an undergrad. I had a really cool professor who started off the class by telling us weird sex facts. One day she told us about this guy who had a “wet tennis shoe fetish.” He would go out in the rain and watch women walk around. The furry fandom/subculture is most definitely not a fetish. To some members of the community it may be, but as a whole it is not.
Put simply it’s a culture based around anthropomorphics, with it’s own media, dress sense and even attitudes.

Furries don’t deserve to be ranked #1. Theres far more stranger sexual fetishism in the Sci-Fi and Anime fandoms (The Kaotian slave cult in the UK, and theres plenty of fan fiction about having sex with aliens, robots and even computers). They just haven’t had a CSI episode (that was mostly fiction) done on them.
Most furries are fans of Anthropomorphics – in animation, comics, art, storytelling and performance entertainment (Fursuiting).
I have attended 6 Furry conventions over the past two years and studied the fandom online the past four years. The truth I have found out is only a few furries are “into” it as a sex fetish. The majority of furries don’t consider those “furverts” as a part of the fandom. It’s just sad thats all the Media thinks furries are, and that the public believes it.

While the negative views expressed by some regarding this list are no doubt shared by many, I do feel it necessary to point out that, in fact the fetishes listed here are indeed recognised sexual fetishes, and undoubtedly very much more common than you might be aware.
While a few of them (Crush in particular) are relatively obscure, others, such as coprophilia (scat), bloodfetish are reasonably common, while urolagnia (GS/watersports) is almost (though possibly not quite) mainstream in many countries these days.
Necro is illegal in most countries (though not in the USA, apparently) and probably the reason that Bondage/BDSM/Ponyplay etc din’t make it onto the list is that these are now SO mainstream that they hardly even qualify as being fetishes anymore.
An interesting one that IS in the list is acrotomophilia (though it appears within the somewhat broader context of Teratophilia). This one is interesting because one can look on it as a positive thing for disabled people, given that a large part of this is the understanding that a person with missing limbs can still be sexually attractive to many people. And why shouldn’t amputees be able to enjoy a wonderful and rewarding sex life just like the rest of us ?
Emetophilia is a fairly nasty business, agreed, but then that’s just my own personal opinion of it – I know a couple of people (who’s stomachs are considerably stronger than my own) who enjoy both watching and engaging in this activity – I like to remind them occasionally not to do it while I’m around though, as the very thought of it can make me physically ill myself – while they may well enjoy watching me throw up, I wouldn’t be getting turned on by the experience myself so I’m happy to give that one a miss
The bottom line is this – each to their own, and as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else then its fine by me. At the end of the day, if you don’t like it, don’t do it (but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it LOL)

Good list but there are a few more bizarre fetishes, as told by Wikipedia:
Formicophilia: sexual attraction to smaller animals, insects, etc. crawling on parts of the body
Infanitilism: sexual pleasure from dressing, acting, or being treated as a baby
Agalmatophilia: sexual attraction to statues or mannequins
And there’s a fetish for wood, as in sexual arousal by looking at wood, and another for curtains but I can’t remember the names.
I used to have a video of myself and friends on a bouncy castle on youtube, an innocent video with some teenage girls. This may be linked to other fetishes involving the expulsion of waste matter, such as burping and excretion (Coprophilia), especially those usually associated with embarrassment or humiliation. However, often the person farting is not embarrassed, but performing their ‘act’ in a casual manner.
Dendrophilia – Not much to say on this one. If you’re sexually aroused by trees, those bark-covered, leafy phallic symbols, you’re a Dendrophile.
Macrophilia (Giant Fetish) – “Macrophilia refers to a sexual fantasy involving domination by giants, primarily giant women. Variants include metamorphic fantasies; the shrinking of men/women so that average-sized people appear relatively huge, or more commonly, ordinary humans growing to giant size.”

My apologies, but if you got that stuff from Wikipedia, then you haven’t done some proper research. There are fetishes that are a LOT worse than what you call the “furry” fetish, which isn’t even the correct word for what you described.

Okay, I find this actually funny as this guy listed the nine top fetishes WORSE than Furries…Trust me, if you think furries are both a fetish and the worst fetish, you need to have your head examined. Here’s my take on all these:
1) Furry, ok, all you “Furry fandon is not a fetish, stfu, it was posted on a list for fetishes so it was clearly referencing the sexual aspect of it.
That being said, I find some of it pretty hot, but a lot of it is just over the top in my oppinion, so I wouldn’t count it as one of my fetishes but probably more furry than most people.
2) Teratophilia
This one is kind of weird, I don’t really have anything to say about it.
3) Urolagnia
If you combine this w/ diapers then it’s awesome! I’d coun’t it as one of my fetishes
4)Emetophilia
Nah
5) Blood
This one I understand, but I don’t really like it because it involves hurting and possibly scarring people, I’d try to avoid it.
6)Shit
Pee is good, but shit fetish? No, I’ll stick w/ peeing for now.
7)Crush
This one is just really weird. I honestly can’t see what could be sexually appealing about that at all, but I don’t care about those insects enough to stop you so go ahead w/ it if you want.
8)Klismaphilia
I really don’t have anything to say about this one.
9)Necrophilia
Nothing really wrong with having sex with a corpse, I’d find it appealing too unil it starts to rot, at which point I don’t get it.
I’m fine w/ it as long as you don’t kill people for it.

I could have gotten another point if you added diaper fetish to the list, it’s also referred to as infantism, but I say diaper because I’m not that into the “baby” aspect of it.

Jen- That’s what I thought. Though I’m starting to think that Omorashi is something entirely different..
As I was reading the section on Furry Fandom, I started remembering that- if I recall- there was a bit of that going on in Marilyn Manson’s music video for his cover of “Tainted Love.” Also bit of that in video for “The Kill” by 30 Seconds To Mars (Tomo w/ dude in that rabbit suit or whatever).
Meanwhile, looking at the list, I’m thinking I wouldn’t be a teratophiliac. Something about deformed people weirds me out. No offense if anyone here is. But the girl in the picture.. I could dig it once.
