Huh? Why has nobody mentioned the longshot in Funny Games (1997)? If you’ve seen the movie you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Awesome list, thanks. just wanted to mention two from two newer films you may not have seen.
There’s an amazing one in the film Atonement on a beach for about 5 minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB8tVQ_pWFA

And then the one in the film Hunger between Bobby Sands (the IRA guy) and a local Catholic priest, that’s 17 and a half minutes long! It’s incredible.

“Timecode” is another one. Not the best movie, but the whole film is one shot.

How about the opening scene of ‘The Player’? It comes in at nearly eight minutes and references both ‘Touch of Evil’ and ‘Rope’. It’s also a very clever film that both celebrates and satirises Holywood.

I have 3.

1. The Tracey Fragments- Basically The Whole Movie Is Like 20 screens, mostly one continuous shot.

2. Death Proof/Reservoir Dogs- 2 great diner scenes. both tarantino.

3. Rachel Getting Married- Has a couple of shots that last from 3-10 minutes.

Anyone heard of Timecode (2000)? starred Salma Hayek and Stellan Skarsgard. screen was split into four and was four continuous takes. the audio just faded in and out at different points. absolutely fascinating film!
