Halloween is icummen in, so this list is in keeping with the holiday of the season! This is a list of the ten best ghost videos I could find on youtube. Obviously we must take them with a grain of salt, but they are still fun to watch. No screamers included – I promise.

This is probably the most conclusive proof I have ever seen for the existence of ghosts – and I am a skeptic. If you don’t believe in ghosts now – I believe you will after seeing this particular clip.

I think I’ve seen all the others, but my favorite is the ghost car is the best. Very creepy. I do believe in ghosts, but not in a visible, creepy way, but like a warm, loving reminder (from the deceased) that someone who left us is still here.

I have seen most of these videos before. The scary house one actually has its own web site. I was trying to find it but can not remember the name of the house or where it is located. As soon as I unravel that mystery from my head I will post the link.

I don’t have to watch the vids to believe in ghosts. The farm where I grew up is haunted. We even have the obligatory haunted houses and family legends.
Over the years, we’ve seen full body apparitions so real that until they disapeer it’s impossible to realize they aren’t real, apparitions that are obviously ghosts which in it’s own way is even creepier, shadows moving against the sun and wind, objects that have disapeered or moved when no one was in the room, etc etc.

To me the mystery isn’t whether they exist, I believe the overwhelming evidence points to the fact that they do. The mystery should be why they exist.

Ravyn, I know what you mean. None of us – and I mean none, not even my dad – will go down in the field after dark alone. In fact, it takes a lot for us to go down after dark even with a grouop of people. If we do, all the windows are rolled up and the doors are locked.

I don’t believe in ghosts at all. I believe everything can be explained, I have never had an “encounter” although I know many people who have. Ghosts just don’t make sense to me, for many reasons. Is there anybody who is with me? It seems a lot of people here believe in them.

I have seen some odd stuff in my time, and I have been to places that are so high in energy of some kind (and my EMF meter didn’t even blip) I found it hard to breath, but I’ve never seen anything like that bonus clip……

Someone onc tried to debunk the ghost car by saying it drove through the fence causing the fence to bend enough to slide over the car and re-shape itself perfectly as if it was never touched. stupid, huh? do the math, run a car through a fence and see if it is ruined afterwards

To me the ‘Ghost Car’ loses all possible credibility after about 42 seconds when the car magically re-appears with the startling use of editing! Different stretch of road, different lane layout, the whole shebang. So if they can do that and still claim its real then the rest of it is gonna be just as fake. Still, pretty creepy while it lasted!
The bonus footage however….well, I just don’t know what to say. Any argument I could offer would pale in comparison to such overwhelming evidence. A true visitor from beyond the grave.

Doug: I have seen fences which are loosely attached to poles and not dug into the ground allow vehicles to slide right through them, this does not seem to be the case on this video because you cant see any movement so to speek on the fence. You should at least see it shaking from impact.

OK. I watched the bonus clip first. Frightening!
Everything I know about ghosts, I learned from Ghost Hunters and TAPS. I have not had any personal experiences.
#9 Most Haunted does not show any ghosts. Just dust or orbs. Orbs are not evidence of a spirit.
#7 Dorm Ghost is interesting. It’s too bad some sounds were mixed in with the original recording. Was the screaming part of the original recording or added in later? Plus, it sounds like there’s someone close to the microphone shuffling paper or something. Was someone sitting there while he was in the bathroom?
#6 Ghost Car is not reliable, because the car is off camera when it really comes to the fence. The flashing lights make it difficult to see if the fence is shaking or not.
#3 Arrrgh!: Where’s the ghost?
#2 Scary House: Same question.
#1 Vatican Ghost. The fact that there is an organish light about the tomb and the mysterious image is also orangish makes me think that it’s some kind of relfection or flaw with the video camera.

All knowledge that i’ve gathered so far about the subject is that ghosts exist but are not what they claim to be. Based on that premise, that ghosts inheritely lie, then they have only negative attribute. And in that case, i can understand the hatred.

Loved the Bonus video! Anyway on number 8 “Ghost shown on CNN” it says they put a camera in the babies room to view his sleeping habits. If I wanted to view my childs sleeping habits wouldn’t I have the camera POINTED AT THE CHILD?? Why point it at the door? I have a child of my own and she always had “sudden outburts” in the middle of the night. They’re little kids. Its their job to wake up the parents!! =) I’m not saying that the video wasn’t freaky or anything…gave me goosebumps!

I finally have the chance to watch it and am really disapointed with the bonus. to me it was obiously fake. but the ghost car vid really creep me out. jfrater – thanks for posting us(neerds lol) your great list and videos, they are all interesting and cool (especially the human freak shows) I never get tired of seeing then. we all (no life lol) apreciate your hard work to keep us out of boredom.

The ghost in number 2, Scary House, appears at :17. It slides out of the right side doorway as the camera moves across it. It appears as a hazy, opaque humanoid form.

I’d like to consider myself a somewhat logical person (friends may debate that, though …), and I have spent years trying to reason out unexplainable things which happened to me and my family while living in an extremely old country house. All I can say is after spending five years in a place, I’m a firm believer in ghosts and spirits — it’s either that or my whole family and I have gone completely mad!
I love this website, by the way … keeps me entertained for hours.

This is what I think:
10- was actually spooky (until the end.)
9 – contains no ghosts.
8 – is broken.
7 – my pet parakeet could superimpose better than that. That’s pathetic.
6 – unexplainable in my opinion.
5 – I don’t know about this one…
4 – pointless, as that figure is just a person.
3 – no ghosts here either.
2 – it just looks like a tourist trap variety haunted house to me- totally fake.
1 – the video is to low-res to be sure, but I think the figure in red is suspended by some sort of rig. The circled area at the end didn’t make any sense.
Also keep in mind I have no speakers. MAybe sound helps with some of these.

10.okay 9.could be a flashlight 8.broken 7.seems like it is a fake 6.intriguing60/40 on it 5.abit scary 40/60 on it 4.very interesting if you look closely you can actually see through it..if this is an actual vieo from a security system could be chilling proof70/30 3.fun 50/50 2.good 50/50 1.newscast puts authenticity into it with a full house of onlookers in the vatican it’s highly unlikely that this is fake, not impossible 75/25. oh and by the way i do believe in ghosts.my coworker and i at a government car emission testing facility in 1996 spring richmond bc canada heard a loud witch like cackle about 15dft above us on one of the customer waiting booths no people around us at the time facility was slow no cars being tested other coworkers were not in the vicinity..were both looked at each other when we heard this loud cackle and said what the f is was that. i ran around the side of the building all the time looking up at the spot where the laugh projected from nobody was around the top of these booths are 10 ft high 15ft long and 7ft wide there is air condition system on the roof and electrical equipment pertaining to the running of the test equipment no speakers in our lane but the speakers when they would be used by the office which were located in lanes 1 ,3and 5 . we were in lane 4 .were distincly a type of typical muffled like speaker sound not like this loud clear maniacal distincly female disembodied laugh that we heard on that spring afternoon 1996 .i’ll never forget it.

Amazing. We had exactly the same ghost from the bonus footage briefly haunting our flat in Christchurch, New Zealand over 20 years ago.. He hurt himself, too. One imagines that this is how a lot of seriously accepted footage begins life, albeit with a bit more sophistication.

I’m typically a fan of unexplainable subjects (not so much Aliens, or Bigfoot) but everything here just seems too fake. The camera angles alone kinda piss me off, as Das Clown mentioned already they always claim to be filming one thing then end up looking nowhere near it.
It’s just hard to belive someone would have a camera on and ready for some crazy shit to happen, then they explain how they’ve never seen it before and are completely terrified. It feels like I’m watching America’s Funniest Home Videos half the time, and just like those videos you can tell what’s fake and what’s not.
I’d like to see someone film these people going back home or to those places again, I highly doubt if you seen some crazy shit like that you would consider going anywhere near places like that.
The ghost car feels the most realistic but it looks nothing like a normal police chase, and no way they didn’t get enough of the vehicle’s description or a license plate. It just feels like it was staged or some police department prank, and it’s entirely possible they won’t admit it was staged so nobody gets fired.
Most police chases begin with the cop having a reason to pull the suspect over, that was clearly the biggest mystery in the video.
They talked about the fence being the biggest question but come on now, chain fences are poorly designed. The speed the vehicle was traveling could get through that fence without a problem, unless it hit a pole of course. I also disagree with anyone who says the fence would be moving around, those fences only bend. If they tried that against a wooden fence or a wall it would have convinced me.
Most of the photos were fake, some are previous photos of realitives, or just fuck ups with the camera or film. The photos I’ve seen that nobody could explain were extremely boring, and the captions next to them are made up bullshit to make them sound more exciting.
There haven’t been any videos that were proven authentic, with the technology we have these days I highly doubt we’ll see anything real.
Sorry to be a downer here, but this is just how I feel about these videos.

the dorm ghost looked kinda fake, freaky nonetheless.
the japanese ghost isnt just a person, if you look it just disappears, it doesnt go behind anything…just…poof.
yeah…if a car goes through a fence, you could tell. besides, even if the fence wasnt damaged, the car couldnt have gone too far for them not to see it
the vatican ghost isnt a reflection, you can tell by the way it moves/ stays in the same spot even though the camera moves

Don’t be a skeptic. I was. Then for my daughter’s birthday 2 years ago we went to Gettysburg to do some ghost hunting. We didn’t see anything but we heard plenty. I have some of the sounds on video. At the time I thought it was my wife and daughter playing tricks on me and my son (we climbed an observation tower), they did not and they heard the sounds also. They weren’t lying because they were scared to death. The way I parked facing the tower, NOBODY could have been there as it was lighted. I know you are still skeptical but I swear to you on my grave, what we heard was real. I can’t get them back to do it again. It’s on You Tube – Gettysburg Spirit

in my room a ghost is in my corner I have had expieriences in my corner. The first time it was midnight and I HAD A BABY DOLL sleeping with me . I woke up and it wazs at my feet walking on them and it cried. Now none of my babydols cried at this time. Then I found myself a little bit off the ground. I tried to scream to my mom but I could not talk. I finally was able to get up but on my way to my moms room something thumped me in the head. I woke up the next morning and found that my bed was made. and my mom did not do it because she was asleep all night and she also said she did not hear me that night when I tried to call. A week later I slept in my corner again and the same thing happedned every thing that had happened the night before exept I had a toy truck and it had sticker head lights that were flashing and they were different colors. the truck ran over my feet. I am 11 now and that happend when I was 5 .

When I was 3 years old I sae a ghost in the hallway. One day I was buy the stairs in my old house on Stone Road and something happened. I heared my name being called and I thought that it was my mom so I called down from the stairs and she said that she didn’t need me. Then I heard it again 2 times and I looked to the left I saw nothing. Then I looked to the right and I sdaw a older man standing there and ias calling my name. He was black and had a checkered shirt and a light brown jacket on and had a brown hat on and brown shoes and brown pants on too. I screamed for my mom and then the man disapeared into the walls. Then my mom ran up to me and I explained her what I saw. Then the next day I started to talk and play with him and my mom and dad were curious and that saisd,”Savannah who are you talking to?” THen we went to my neimbors house and told her and then she handed me a picture of him and said that he was dead for 20 years and then I never saw him again. I am 10 years now and I never foregot I saw my first spirit.

There is a difference between accepting that this kind of unexplainable things happen, and believing that the ghosts etc. are what people believe they are.
Those that do not accept these kind of phenomena exist are simply eigher afraid to have their conceptions of life shattered, totally uninformed or just stupid. So called rational people that consider UFO sightings, ESP, ghost experiences to be all fake, illusions and emotions, are as much believers as orthodox christians or fanatical muslims.
If you dismiss the experiences of millions of people recorded over thousands of years as bullshit, you’ll never learn much in life. Even if 99% were fake, lies or explainable (which seems unlikely), the remaining 1% would still be overwhelming evidence of the pictue of life and this world being bigger than many thing.
The question is: what are these phenomena and why do they happen ? Are they purely objective or purely subjective or a mixture ? Is there a reason why the people that experience them do so ? A reason in their biography I mean. Are they meaningful ?

The #1 video, Vatican Ghost, was dis-proved on the History Channel’s Monster Quest. It’s just an orange t-shirt suspended by a rod. It was used as a marker by a tour guide so that his group knew where he was. This is a common practice with Vatican tour groups.

#2 was actually pretty convicing, I dont know wat it was but the men seemed really scared of it and the vanican ghost was proved to be a hoax there is a man holding it by a stick in the air. Just look really close.

Most are fake and they can be debunked.Maybe the tube to orb might be real but very hard to prove. The dog clip is totally fake if you watch closely you can see where the time has stoped and things altered.Ghost car was a fake film by a director who works in Britian if you investigiate it futher youll find the story of why.as for the bonus i dont like to waste time with dumb ass people who do stupid shit like this and besmerch thos who actually have real footage.People like them are why there are so many disbelievers

The Vatican Ghost mystery has actually been solved. There are often several different tour groups in the same places at once, so the tour guides will say “Hey, we’re the orange group.” and then take a orange coat or an orange flag, let’s say, and tie it to the end of a long pole. After enough time has passed in a given area, and it’s time to go, the tour guide will lift the pole and wave the orange coat around in the air. That way everyone in that group can see it, and know that it’s time to go. And of course the different tour groups will use different color flags.
So rewatch the video now, and notice right smack in the middle of the aisle, wearing a white shirt, is a tour guide holding the pole and swinging that orange coat around. Once you see, you can’t unsee it, and you are shocked that you ever missed it. Try it.

What a load of rubbish. I don’t believe any of it for a second
10 – Every picture is either a ray of light, an actual person or object with a lot of light shining on them, a mark on the camera, bad superimposing, or absolutely nothing
9 – I can’t see anything that even resembles a ghost, apart from a small dot of light which is probably coming from the camera itself
8 – Won’t let me view it for whatever reason
7 – Terrible superimposing. Obviously a fake due to the stupidly cheesy music and random shrieks.
6 – The car “suddenly re-appearing” is a terribly done camera cut, I mean the road suddenly changes! As for what happens at the end, well I reckon it’s one of two things. Either the car drives round the fence, or the whole thing is a fake, although I reckon the car drove round the fence, and then that’s where they cut the tape. Wouldn’t be surprised if they did that just to make some good tv.
5 – Video has been removed
4 – Absolutely terrible video editing
3 – Can’t see anything that resembles a ghost
2 – Can’t see anything that resembles a ghost
1 – That could be anything. Definitely looks suspended from something
Number 6 doesn’t have an obvious explanation but I don’t believe for a second that it’s real

Are you serious?! The bonus video is clearly a fake! I’ve been studying the supernatural for quite awhile now and I would like to state some points on the video that clearly show that cheap imitation camera tricks were used.
1. If you pause at 0:55 you supposedly see the ghost “falling,” but that could obviously just be a pet dog or cat.
2. The rocking chair is self explanatory. Someone sat on it and quickly ran away. They edited that part.
3. As for the curtains the window is just open.
Some light tricks were used to create a more eerie effect. Kudos to the person who tried to make as realistic as they could. It’s one of the most believable ones out there, but I’ve found fault in it. Sorry guys.

i watched a few vids on youtube that are of ‘ghostly’ images and in all honesty i believe 80% of the pics are faked. some do seem possible though,which is actually creepy as i now want to go check my photo’s in case i have any extra people in them!

I find their audio clips to be staggering most times.

The Bonus was very convincing though. I could only barely watch it all the way. I’m not sure if I can get any sleep tonight…
As a kid I used to make my own fake ghosts with a very old camera. With all the special effect programs and what not it’s easy to pull that off.
But that last one.. If it was fake how on Earth did they do that !? Can’t be fake, looks way too real.
