….well you could also say he came from Europe as these are geographical locations, saying someone comes from the British Isles is far to general, in other words every Irish person comes from Ireland, as some people still think that Ireland is part of Britain. Look up Irish writers in wikipedia, most are down as coming from Britain, the UK but not from Ireland in incorrect statements, wikipedia is often wrong.
