First was anxiety and fear from lack of oxygen and the struggle to fight to live. Then the lack of oxygen sets in and you feel drowsy like you took the heaviest sleeping pill and can’t fight it, i felt my body go limp and felt paralyzed and strangely I became very warm all over like a peaceful blanket was over me. Then unconscious set in and then rescued. I was learning to surf in big waves in Hawaii. The worst part was the feeling of no oxygen=PANIC. But NO PAIN.

Wrote an essay on this subject last year. A gruesome subject.
