It was highly disheartening to find out that Mahatma Gandhi was never awarded with a Nobel prize just after learning abt the “achievements” of these aforementioned Nobel prize winners , which also reminds me of another list where the Lister stated that “Gandhi was poor as a church mouse” with which i totally disagree , some one dares to make statements about Gandhi should know that he was a very well educated and well known barrister in South Africa , who decided to give up all his comforts even his clothes and came back to his poverty stricken home land just so that he cud understand his nation’s pain and win back his country’s freedom he fought The British Government with just a stick(he used as his support) and wearing one white piece of cloth……….and a gr8 list there! keep up

Barack Obama won the prize because he was the first Black President of America. Awarding the prize to him made them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It’s a meaningless gesture. The Nobel Commitee awards feeling and gestures, not action.

The Nobel Peace Prize a joke. It’s a pat on the back for left wing idealists and hypocritical murderers. Al Gore one simply for “appearing” to do something. Forget the fact that his environmental preaching has caused deaths in third world nations.
