That being Carl Palmer of both Asia and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. I think that you have to look beyond a couple of things. I admit to the fact that ELP is probably the most pretentious bands in history as between 1/4 and 1/3 of their music is lifted from famous pieces of Classical Music. But in concert, they were one of a kind and at one time was one of the most sought after bands to fill concert venues. Asia’s 1st album was a very good album in my opinion and saw them just after that album was released and put on an amazing show. (Steve Howe and Geofff Downes of YES, Carl Palmer of ELP and John Wetton, just name the British progressive super group of the 70′s and he was most likely the bassist, but I do admit that they sold out to the teen age bubblegum smacking girls who saw them for their boyish looks and not for the music. Especially the song listed on here “Go”
