I agree with the commenter before me, it’s time for a new list. To include not only all the celebrities recommended by comments but also those that have appeared since this list was published.

My favorite transformations?

Glenn Close in Hook — we had to watch the movie several times to find her.

Daniel Day Lewis — From hulking up in Last of the Mohicans to the tall, uber-lanky Cecil Vyse in A Room with a View and the incredible transformation he undertook to become Christy Brown in My Left Foot.

Matthew McConaughey — The hunky, brash dragon killer in Reign of Fire.
