I really don’t understand the people who are supporting BOB signs. They do nothing but piss off other drivers. I actually get angry when I see them, especially when there’s no baby seat in the car, or the toddler is climbing over the seats without even a seat belt. People use them as an excuse to be irresponsible: “I’ve got this crappy plastic sign up that people can see, I don’t need to do anything to hold up my side of the bargain.” No one drives more carefully around a BOB car. No one. No one decides not to crash into a BOB car because it’s a BOB car; what a ridiculous notion. The world is not going to go out of its way to ensure every second of your kid’s day is 100% risk free. If you’re scared for your baby’s health/safety, keep it in a plastic bubble at home where nothing can hurt it. A BOB sign will not save its life.

Rant over.

By the way; yes, I’m a mother. My son is four and my daughter is 18 months old.

I’m sorry but the creator of this list, seems kinda- unfun, and I wouldn’t want to hang out with them. Come on Lava Lamps, Black Lights, Cabbage Patch, Mood Rings, and to a lesser extent, Tamagotci? This stuff is simple & interesting fun. Pet Rocks & Sea Monkeys? That was what made being a child great. You are definitely, without a doubt in my mind, not a child of the eighties. Have you ever even owned a real genuine Lava lamp? A mood ring is like 99 cent at store & is a hilarious conversation piece. Black lights just really make a bland room pop. I bet you hate GI Joe & My Little Pony too? Transformers. Sega Genesis? I bet you felt the Gameboy was a waste of money. Glow sticks, scratch & sniff, glow in the dark? I bet that was some of the worst fads ever! What do you like? Rocking chairs? Butter churner? Geez…

no the signs will not save ur child’s life in the event of some idiot crashing into ur car. but just to advertise the fact that we have a baby in our car does at least say ‘please drive carefully’.

and if someone else’s baby were to die(be it car crash or something else) then u do feel their parents’ pain what with also having kids ur self.

OMG the BOB signs are everywhere, and annoying. The worst I’ve seen is “Princess on board”…

Who cares? Seriously, they’re NOT gonna save you. They just cost you money and bad impression. The rest of the world do not care about you or you baby. It may sound curel but it’s true. who cares if someone else’s baby dies?

Well, it’s biological that parent’s think their kids are the best treasure in the world. That’s what makes them seem proud and annoying…Can’t hlp it…
