What about fila, bully kuta, pres canario, ca de bou, ovcharkas, mastini (italian line or working line), tosas, mals, livestock guardians, mioritic, komondor, mastin espanol, great dane, hunting dogs, kangals, german short haired pointers which was incorporated into the doberman breed for its high energy and temperament, akitas, akbash, pyrenees…….etc

People who think the way you do is why pitbull are used to fight and end up euthanized, they are woderful gentle pets with love and training. Obviously you know very little about dogs…. my chow chow has beat up 2 american pitbull terriers on seperate occassions, they where not hurt severly though and I was very upset that he did that because I hate dog fighting who cares who is badass you should treat pets like family and I’m glad to say my chow now has a new pitbull friend and with training is no longer dog agressive.

Size has nothing to do with how good a dog can fight! I have bred and fought several types and sizes of dogs and can tell you from years of experience it is the gameness in a dog that really matters! That “will not quit, fight to the death” that is bred in in the American Pitt bull terrier. It has been bred in this dog over hundreds of years. So no matter how big your dog is, there simply is no breed that can stand up to a Pitt bull!!!!

@ Russian Women vs American Women…..Dating or marrying a Russian woman ? I have a couple of things that I would like for you to look up. Go to the Wikipedia on your computer and read about a term referred to as a “Fiance Visa” and the poor American “saps” who get lured into that breech of scamming and eventually get scammed out of everything they own monetarily as well as personal objects or property. Then I would like for you to go to a website called stopscammers.com (which I am a full fledged member of) and read about the history of scamming when it comes to online relationships. You see, this whole scamming process really took off with the fall of communism and the Russian Mafia started to escalate very fast (they are very nasty people, by the way) and scamming of this sort id actually a multi-billion dollar business. If you get a Russian “woman” and her profile picture is gorgeous, then 99.9% of it is not “her” but probably some MAN trying to scam you out of everything that you own. Its sad but true, especially these so-called “Russian Mail-Order Brides/Women” Also be aware of the countries of Ghana, Nigeria, and generally speaking, all of Western Africa and they “say” that they are on a missionary program (Red Cross, UNICEF, Peace Corps, etc.), have had either their passport missing or stolen, are stuck over in that area and have a dying or dead next of kin relative and need to get back to the United States.. When I first bought my PC over 3 years ago, I admit to being naive about it, but at least I have the smarts not to give money to a total stranger (I think that a severely mentally retarded 4 year old child has the power of knowledge not to do that). Now, it takes me less than 5 minutes to detect one. I am a “fight fire with fire” type of person. Sometimes I’ll play the game for a few days with one and thinking the person has me in their trap or scam, its then that I lower the boom on them and tell them the truth about their scamming and lying. And I do get an amazing adrenaline rush from it. I also give honorable mention to women from The Philippines !! I kind of live by the lyrics of the song by the Heavy Metal Music Rock Group, MOTORHEAD. “The Chase Is Better Than The Catch” and man, I love doing that !!!!

Ok, so in what way would these breeds ''wipe the floor'' with a pit bull? that is a pretty uneducated comment and this is somewhat of an uneducated list. in YOUR opinion. there are alot of breeds that are strong, loyal and protective. and some may be better in some areas, but the points u make here are just an opinion and not facts.

Ok so, we seem to have some relatively common guardian breeds listed here, but not many livestock guardian breeds precluding the Caucasian Ovcharka. I would replace this list with primarily livestock guardians as these are the dogs who are bred primarily to guard and kill. There are more than ten livestock guardians out there.

However, I think we’re overlooking one primary factor and that is the temperament of the individual dog. I’ve met some timid rottweilers and some bold Border Collies.

Argentinian mastiffs are banned in Western Australia as are Presa de Canarios. Such a shame as they are both beautiful dogs. My dad bred and raised English mastiffs for years and we have also owned American bulldogs, never had a day’s trouble with them. No kids bitten, no adults or other animas hurt. My daughter owns an American bulldog who is a formidable guard dog but well trained.
