They aren’t very aggressive and they fly very slowly, kind of like how you’d imagine an elephant would if it had wings. If one finds its way indoors, I open a window and shoo or carry it out with a newspaper.

Where are the Lice? Pediculus humanus has caused many, many deaths from spreading a multiplicity of diseases, including relapsing fever, typhus, and trench fever. Although vaccines exist for some of these diseases, I still feel that lice merit a mention on this list. If you are just going for current deaths though, I can see why they wouldn’t make it.
