I hate political correctness. It makes no sense. Just because someone is a bit sensitive about who they are I should tiptoe around what I want to say? ok... racial slurs should be avoided at all costs but that says a lot more about the person who says it than the person they are saying it to. Whenever I come across racist people a smile a little because they are obviously ignorant in trying to claim some sort of vague superiority because of an obvious difference in outward appearance. I laugh at all racist because racism is taught and can be untaught. Don't believe me? Ask my Mongolian girlfriend. Or my many one night stands with people who openly expressed hatred against different people. If I can only prove one thing is that I can bed them regardless of "race" culture or upbringing but that is besides the point. One should laugh at racists. lol like you've never lol'ed before. However, discrimination is no laughing matter. I abhor all forms of discrimination. Whether it be gender, "race", religion or otherwise. One should embrace difference. Heck, two completely different humans are more closely related to each other than two sibling chimpanzees. That's why inbreeding is so dangerous. If you limit yourself to a certain "race" or culture you not only limit your life experience but you limit your survival. Nature only supports a certain number of inbreeding. So if you are one of those who think that they are better for whatever reason and shun others. Good luck... I will send my great great great grandchildren to meet yours... if you have any...

These books were all written in a different time and a by a different generation.
Some of them were literary masterpieces in their day, what a shame to lose that. Even if some people would find them offensive how is it possible for anyone to learn from history? It's obvious that people that cry racism are the ones who would define history from a politically correct and totally skewed point of view without appreciating the history involved in some of these books.

GIRL DIED IN 1993, A MAN BURIED HER IN HER OWN home GIRLwhen she was still alive. The murderer chanted, "Toma sota balcu" as he buried her. Now that you have read the chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the ............night she will stand at the side of your bed starring straight into your eyes. She will suffocate you for revenge of when she was suffocated. This story is sadly true. If you post this 5 differnt times she will not bother you

As a child, Little Black Sambo was one of my favourite books. I loved the story of the cunning and brave little boy who outwitted the tiger, and the clever elision between the blur of the drawing depicting movement and the transformation of the tiger is very satisfying. The happy ending with his loving parents offered reassurance.

My parents were strongly opposed to racism, being committed Christians, and I spent my young adulthood involved in the anti-apartheid movement. I now work as a lawyer specialising particularly in anti-discrimination law. I Have shown the book to my children, and explained the racist use of the title, but the clever little boy who is the hero of the book is a great character in childrens' literature.
