I recently received this email which contains some very funny motivational posters – with a twist. While I have seen a few of them, many were new so I thought it would make a nice relaxed list for the weekend. So, here are twelve posters to motivate you in life! As usual, click for a larger view.

These are known as “De-Motivational Posters” which I believe originated on ebaumsworld.com (or at least, that is the site that has encouraged the trend the most). Some are truly genius – I recommend anyone to come across the one titled “Envy” which is certainly my favorite.

The Simplicity one is my favorite, that’s pretty much my approach to math. More than likely why I failed my 10th grade exam too!

The demotivational posters are only hyped up to rediculous levels on ebaumsworld. They came from Despair Inc. originally. I received a catalogue of their demotivational products from a friend. I would rather hang one of their posters in my lonely cubicle at work rather than see those pipedream ones they hang up everywhere else.
there was an ice cream truck ,in my memories of younger years, spray painted black. AndI would see it parked here and there, around “home”.

Thats right. This guy goes to my school. He did it for a joke because, suprisingly enough, he did GCSE maths in year 10 and got an A* and then went on to get an A grade in further maths the next year. He also got in the top 5 in the UK for A lvel English in Year 10 (4th form). I wont say his name because it would exploit privacy.

these are awesome. love the ‘find x’, if only i had been so inventive when i was failing math
De-motivational posters were -NOT- started by Ebaumsworld. They were started by a novelty site on the internet over 5 years ago .. check http://www.despair.com They started with coy sarcastic renditions of known office motivational posters there sold on merchandise, the knock offs ensued and made home at ebaums.
