Few of these items the ball thrower is not one of the dumbest far far FROM it gives my dogs a lot of fun and they have get too the further away than if normally throw it and gives peers like myself whom can't throw further than the ball would be if thrown by hand to see my dogs enjoy me throwing the ball rather than my support workers with the ball thrower these times for taking my dogs for a walk with this product is priceless. Also about other items I am against the pet trolley as it deny any normal animal to behave in a normal behavior of any household pet even if they have mobility probe even this product will make any household pet lazy togo out and about plus konk filler for those rubber balls that u can put food in is such a waste of money lol. Finally sunglasses for dogs dam right if I may say so I wish so official animal right charities

The Chuckit is a fantastic invention! I have it for my dogs - not only does it allow me to throw a ball much further than I would unaided, but I don't have to pick up a slobber and dirt covered ball with my bare hands. One of my dogs is particular energetic and ten minutes throwing a ball with a chuckit does more for her than a two hour walk.

The Kong is great too - I don't buy the paste, I just stuff it with cheese, kibbles, marmite/peanut butter. Trust me, my dogs don't leave anything in it.

I just wanted to comment on the chuck it. I used to have 2 very hyper active dogs, and currently a greyhound mix puppy. The problem isn't picking up or throwing the ball, but the distance. I used to use my lacrosse stick to launch the ball, and then I saw the chuck it. I found it useful, I could just leave it in the car. After the dog has slobbered all over the ball and it gets muddy, etc you don't have to touch it, plus it adds leverage to your throw.

Half of the things I find useful. My elderly dog actually enjoys wearing clothes if it's cold or raining and will not go out "naked" in bad weather. Understandable: a dog is smart enough to distinguish between cold and warm, aching joints and ability to walk easily.
Pet stroller is dumb if you take your pet for a "walk" in it. But really it's just a transporting cage you don't have to carry. My granny would appreciate it if she didn't have to depend on me to take the cat to the vet.
As for chuckit! - well it's your best friend, unless you actually enjoy touching tennis balls covered in mud and drool...
And Doggles are useful for dogs with eye problems.

I would include homeopathic meds for pets in this list. Animals don't have placebo effect, so what's the point?
And translating dog collars. See the link http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/discoblog/2009/08/06/dog-collar-claims-to-translate-dog-barks-experts-are-dubious/

I used to think dog clothes was stupid until I became a pet owner. My dog has very little fur and gets cold easily. We bought him sweaters so he could be more comfortable. He actually runs to us and helps us put it on him because he knows when he wears it he won't be cold. He also knows how to take them off so whenever he gets too warm he takes it off (which is not often). My use of dog sweaters serve a practical purpose.

1. There is at least 1 dog that cannot produce tears, and without Doggles, he'd have to have been put down, or had his eyes removed.

6. Tis is not meant for someone with a small dog. (I am female, we're not known for upper body strength. ) Generally speaking, the furthest I can get a ball to go in the air by throwing it is roughly 40 ft. That's with me snapping my elbow. I have a long legged dog that will literally arrive less than 1 second behind the ball, so something like this would give me a further throw, with practice. I'd prefer to slingshot it. If I could get a ball thrown 1/2 a football field, without hurting me, I think I'll go with the seemingly lazy product, screw anyone's opinion on it. :P
