Half of this list it a huge misstep in my opinion. Most blatant: it’s not because True Romance revolves and evolves around the “boy meets girl” theme that it should be dubbed a chick flick. I mean, having True Romance and “chick flick” in the same sentence makes me laugh out loud.

The reason why men hate chick flicks that is reasonable men is that men are portrayed as insensitive or dumb. Way to play into all that schlock.

Oh and who in their right mind thought True Romance was a chick flick? Because romance is in the title? Do people not at least look at the back cover before rent/buy.

All that and you miss “White Palace” a true chick flick but it shows how happier someone is with an older more carefree woman than a 20 something, controlling shrew.
