I think when this list first came out I would have had to give Led Zeppelin IV the #2 spot. But since I’ve found out how much of their music was already written before they put their own names on it, I think I’d have to drop them to about #300. Their ability to CREATE great blues is a big part of what I loved about them. Without that they’re not so great. And the fact that they claimed to have written these songs when they didn’t drops them WAAAYYY farther down the list.

No. 1 is, of course, Sgt. Pepper. They narrowly edged out Carl Swoboda and his Dancing Zither.

I realize that Pearl Jam may fall into a different genre of rock, but i have to say that Pearl Jam- Ten is possibly the best album ever!
