Love that Leon is on here. A beautiful film if I;ve ever seen one. What about Eli from Let the right one in? Yeah sure she murders a few “innocent” boys but they were bullying little *****es. And possibly the Gecko brothers from From Dusk Til Dawn.

It never fails to amaze me how many people list Robert De Niro’s character in “Taxi Driver” as an anti-hero. Travis Bickle and Tyler Durden should not be on this list. Neither of them are anti-heroes, they’re villains. You could make an argument that Bickle is at best an anti-villain, and I actually would agree. But he is no anti-hero, certainly not a hero. List Durden as an anti-hero is even more confusing. Durden isn’t even and anti-villain, he’s just a villain. It is as absurd as listing The Joker as an anti-hero simply because he is a villain that is likeable. These two character’s presence on this list mystifies me. To have them on here is to miss the point of both films.

clint eastwood was always my favourite anti hero when he was the man with no name and dirty harry , come on being a cop and being called dirty harry , makes you wonder !
