I will break down my opinion by naming what I think is the best bond flick 1 from each actor. Connery (-goldfinger) Moore( view to a kill). Dalton ( living daylights) this was also the first bond movie I saw. Brosnan( die another day). Craig too early to tell but probably casino royal. I will also include on her majesty's secret service, the only one with lazenby as bond. It sadly gets dismissed cause he is easily the least popular bond. But if any other of the bond actors played in that movie it would be top 3 ever guaranteed. The concept of this movie was one of the best in bond history.

Craig makes a terrific Bond. I enjoyed the first movie more than the second though.
Dalton is greatly underrated because he made the character more human. Even though he seemed darker in some ways he was less cold and calculated than the previous Bonds and most refresingly he toned down the redundent womanizing aspect of the character and was more faithful and devoted to the Bond Girl. Especially in “The Living Daylights.” But of course that was not popular with the die hard masculine fans. It was nice from a feminine point of view to have a more romatic Bond for a while though..

Bond wasn’t supposed to be humanised, he was supposed to be invincible. I hate the way they’ve thrown the original concept out of the window, as in my view there’s no point in even making any more Bond films. As a result, Casino Royale is probably one of my least favorite Bond’s. My most favorite is difficult to decide. I like escapism in films you see, not realism. For those who don’t realize films are supposed to me make believe. It shouldn’t be a case of: if he can’t do it in real life, then don’t bother doing it on screen, as that’s rather limiting! I choose the best as Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Live And Let Die, For Your Eyes Only and The Spy who Loved Me.

Of course Connery is best, then Brosnan then Craig I guess. I would like Craig more if the last two bond flicks weren’t so terrible. I didn’t like the plots in either. In fact all I remember about Casino Royale was that bond had to win a poker game to keep money out of terrorists hands. Really? Thats the best they got? I don’t care if Ian Flemming wrote it, if I wanted to read a good book I wouldn’t read a James bond book anyway. Long live lasers and anti-bond terrorists that actually pose threats!
