I actually like Zardoz because the 70′s is a fave era of film for me. They just did things that filmmakers aren’t allowed to do and are too chicken to do. Even when they’re bad they still stick in my head.
So in saying that out of the list, I have never heard of 4 of the films – #4,6,7 & 8
I’ve actually seen 4 of the 10 – #1,5,9 & 10
and I’ve only seen parts of #2 & 3.

My personal faves are Zardoz, Handmaiden’s Tale & Videodrome all variations of some freakish-ness going on. I’d like to check out Bunker Palace Hotel and maybe La Decima Vittima & maybe Quintet…

Also whoever thinks Dark City and Battle Royale should be on this list, Battle Royale is not a “dystopian” film and Dark City had a decent run at the box office, (and also happens to be one of my favorites) but then I might be older than some of the readers of this site, so I don’t know.
