I not only concur, I would put forth that nearly all of these are legends, hoaxes or malicious lies (for profit, such as Amala and Kamala.) I would bother copying anything down here, or rewording. Simply take a peek at the listing on wikipedia (which, while not a scholarly source, is vetted and cited) and you’ll quickly learn that there is nearly no evidence for a true feral child. Yes, there are very real cases of neglect that have lead to young adults and children who seem to display animal-like characteristics. Genie is a prime example of this. However, feral is not the word. Neglected, as Genie was, is a much better word. These are typically children abused and isolated with preexisting mental conditions. When examined, particularly outside of the modern objective context (say, during the enlightenment) it is easy for a child with severe developmental issues and a nice case of child neglect and abuse to seem to be a wild-raised case.

To be clear, it is certainly possible that at some point a child was raised by wild animals. However, a true feral child is a non-documented entity. Don’t bother bsing each other hear and debating whether it could be true, go find some primary sources (or a good article that cites them, this list serves as did the public display of said “feral” children in the past – that is for entertainment only, not education) and you’ll find some real knowledge.
