Mormon Extermination order. In the 1800's, the government of Missouri (and I think there were other states) made it legal to exterminate LDS members on sight. So apparently the land of the free, with freedom of religion thinks that it's ok to kill people because of their religion. THAT is definitely an atrocity that deserves a fine mention. I think there’s one that is not NEARLY as well known, but just as relevant, especially considering this isn’t even a top 10.
