Frater, would you like to make a second list of hoaxes? you can include the infamous korean Hwang and Ernst Haeckel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernst_Haeckel). The latter is my biggest disappointement. While trying to prove the recapitulation theory he exaggerated and drew the embryos look alike. Even now in some school books on biology his illustrations can be seen.
