Furthermore, 5 & 2 are progeny of Lucifer, though they could be considered avatars of the traditional Devil. In their stead I would have replaced them with David Warner in “Time Bandits”. Bruce Payne in “Switch”, Tom Waits in “The Imaginariium of Doctor Parnassus” & Robert De Niro’s Louis Cypher in “Angelheart”. Number 7 is an exception as it is a television version transition to theatrical release, so it counts in this list.

Not shocked at the inclusion of Nicholson’s Daryl Van Horn because his character is implied as the devil, but it is ambiguous and at several points throughout both the book and the film it’s based on, Daryl’s inferred to be a warlock witch recruiter gifted with certain aspects of the Devil. Admittedly, Jack was perfectly cast for that role.
