The catwalks are safe but you must wear raincoats during the raining station. It's because there is MUCH WATER there. The view is colossal, the sound frightening and the feeling is one of best I have felt in my whole life. You can see how tiny you are comparing to nature and how incredible our planet is. That picture of Iguaçu is from dry period. If you see images from rainy months, you will be marveled. Don’t be afraid of getting closer to Iguaçu.

It was so awesome. I agree with Mom424 when she said it was a tourist trap. I also know that it is 3 falls. If you take the tour (Canadian side) then you would be taught the correct way.
