What not Higurashi no naku koro ni? While not the GREATEST anime ever, it certainly is very, very good, is one of my favorites with lovaeble and unforgettable characters. The ending, while pulling a ‘Return of the Jedi’move similiar to the way Ewoks beat storm troopers, was certainly good and satisfying.
