I was looking for the article on the several scientists whose assistants lost their eyesight from glass flask explosions, while they raced for a Nobel Prize in pursuit of absolute zero research, and came across this site instead.

There is something new and it started before the Hadron Collider research in pursuit of a mini Black Hole that is in at least a small way is risking all our lives. Workers and scientists during World War II were taking bets on whether the atomic explosion would unite the state, the atmosphere and/or the ocean.

When insecticide was genetically introduced to corn used for hog feed, some scientists feared it would pollinate into all plants endangering all insect and then finally mammals. Mexicans are suffering allergies from their genetically modified corn germinated by the wind. And it is the major suspect for Bee Colony Hive Collapse.

I don't know whether we will survive Hadron Collider Black Hole research, but I suspect that if scientists can repeatedly risk the lives of us all, one of the dooms day scenarios will end up correct.

Let's email, lobby, and march to the UN to request it take jurisdiction and let the nerds in the stop LHC movement, stop looking down on and avoid associating with the ordinary people who are also worried.

We can wait centuries to conduct the experiment on other worlds or we can at least wait a generation and have a fast elevator surrounding the place on the race track where the two beams will collide, going up to a rocket ship to be blasted into space. Just in case a mini Black Hole turns out to be stable after all.

See,

Many of the scientists working on yellow fever died from it. I'm surprised there were none on the list.
