Happy Birthday Listverse!

Today (July 1) is the first birthday of the List Universe. One year ago today we published our very first list – Top 10 Largest Arms Exporters. If you check it out you will see how far we have come in quality and quantity! With only 6 comments, that list garnered one of the smallest responses from readers – that is no surprise. Compared to the 1,178 comments on the most recent “your view”, we really have come a long way – thanks mostly to you – our readers!

Happy 1st Birthday Listverse!

Now that the first year is behind us, we can look forward to the next year and hope that we get as much growth and have as much fun as we have so far. I am as enthusiastic about the site as I was one year ago today and I have many plans for the future.

I would like to take this time to tell you that there will be two new ideas launched on the site today – so be sure to come back and check them out!

Thank you to everyone for your contributions to the site – and in particular thanks to Cyn (the Admin) and dangorironhide for their administrative efforts on the main site and forums.

And finally, the cupcakes above were very tasty – I shared them with my friends and family and made a wish on behalf of listverse for all of us!
