I talk in my sleep a lot.

And once, when I was four, I woke up under my bed. Another time, I woke up with a cut on my knee- and the cut wasn't there when I'd fallen asleep. 8O

More recently, I woke up in the middle of the night screaming. I had no idea why. It was creepy.

Yeah I was also wondering about sleep paralysis. Probably too common. I get it too, quiet often. Easily the scariest moments of my life.

You wake up, glued to your bed. Can't move. Massive pressure forcing the air out of your lungs. Unnatural fear engulfs you completely. Mine is usually accompanied by loud noises in my head. Sometimes the sound of cars driving past really fast. Sometimes the sound of wind, like a hurricane in my bedroom.

It usually dissapears if you blink repeatedly or manage to move your head from side to side. Although once when I was about 12, I had a really bad one. I managed to role over, fall out of bed and literally crawl to my bedroom door. Only then did the paralysis fade away.

i read all 209 comments, took me over an hour, it turned from funny and entertaining to boring and irritating bec. of a few people. :(
anyway when i was little i ALWAYS woke up to find the covers on the floor, my mom told me i was punching and kicking nonstop i didnt feel it at all not even fatigue.i grew outta it. another event is that i imagined the ceiling openeing and creatures dropping me on my bed and i felt this falling sensation. i used to sleep on the couch and next day waking up on my bed. later a discovered later i discovered my big bro carried me to my bed and just dropping me while im sleeping!

I have to say that I was surprised, and disappointed, that Sleep Paralysis was missing from this list. I have suffered several bouts of it, starting as far back as I can remember, and it has always been a bizarre and truly TERRIFYING experience. For those who haven't heard of it, I urge you to do some research. Isn't it amazing what our minds and bodies can do?
