Quite a few omissions and some of the inclusions are subjective, far more powerful than some of these were “Burnt Money” a humdinger of a movie, “Children of God” , “Head On” and more recently, “Weekend”, Notre Paradisi to name a few however I agree with you on Brokeback, My Beautiful Laundrette and Beautiful Thing

If you like maurice and bent some of you may like a film called Borstal Boy with danny dyer. I think it’s brilliant and sad. I’d take a glance at this film if you like the different times type of film this one is set in ww2 time, enjoy xx

Thanks so much for this list. Being straight, it’s interesting to see movies like this and begin to really understand homo*****uality. I’ve seen My Own Private Idaho, and it was amazing. I’ll have to check out the rest of these!

Does any else know any realistic but sad movies related to homo*****uality?

I was also wondering does anyone know this movie; It’s about a boy whose mother dies when she was riding a bike to deliver milk. The boy goes to church every Sunday and this guy bullies him alot all the time. And then slow by slow they become friends. Then once the other forces the boy to wear his mother’s wedding dress and rapes him after that and later on the guy that raped him makes others also bully him calling him gay when he was the one gay (well not gay he does it with girls too so that makes him pan*****ual). So does anyone know? o.O
