Agree with most. Clerks sucks and Scarface is overrated. I like Pacino though, good actor.

I can’t believe Empire Strikes Back isn’t on here. This is the best thing they could come up with as a sequel to the excellent A New Hope, or the sequel to it, Return Of The Jedi? It’s repetitive of the 1st, takes the plot almost nowhere (even Luke finding out Darth Vader was his father was kind of pointless as we knew this like half way through the 1st), and the empire doesn’t really strike back until the 3rd.

Titanic is the best movie ever, next to American History X.

Now, I respect your opinion (Unlike some of the ‘kids’ running around here), and to be honest I do agree with the majority of the movies listed, but I must respectfully disagree with the choices of Reservoir Dogs and Apocalypse Now. Specifically Apocalypse Now.

I disagree with Reservoir Dogs because of the cinematography and the overall style of the film. Yeah, it doesn’t even touch Pulp Fiction (My favorite movie of all time, BTW) in cinematography, style, dialogue, or entertainment, but it has earned the recognition it receives.

Onto Apocalypse Now. I probably wouldn’t mind if it was called overrated, but to be listed at #1, called crap, and say it has little to no decent acting doesn’t sit well with my mind. Maybe it wasn’t completely true to the novel, but that doesn’t make it a bad, overrated (at least not as overrated as listed) mess.

On that note, I would like to mention a few films that are overrated, in my humble opinion:
Kill Bill Vol. 1, Gladiator, Wavelength (In terms of Art Films at least), Alexander the Great, Both the Transformer Movies, and Death Proof (By the Pro. Critics).

Other then Alexander the Great (Freaking snore fest, to be honest with you) and Transformers (Oh god the HORROR), I enjoy the movies I listed as overrated (As you enjoyed R. Dogs). That’s all. Remember, this is all based on my personal opinion, so don’t take too much offense to it.

For Schnindlers List: I respect opinions, but did you even watch the movie?

For 2001: A space odysseY (There’s a Y at the end of it): I can understand why you listed this one Troy, but its a masterpiece. It takes a true appreciator of the film art to understand why its a masterpiece.

i disagree with Clerks being on the list. it was a really good film and deserves a lot of praise. it has intelligent humour. however,Clerks 2 was quite a disappointment in my eyes. but i still enjoyed it as i think kevin smith is very clever
