The escape was 8 years in the planning and involved Fenian brothers buying, then sailing a ship half way around the world, from New Bedford Massachusetts to Bunbury West Australia to rendezvous and pick up six escapees, then, return triumphantly to New York. In saying all that, your list is excellent and makes for interesting reading. I have always enjoyed the Colditz story and was especially fond of the 1953 film starring John Mills.
