Jehovahs witness religion is not a cult. Those who say it is probably have never been too a meeting. Your free to come and go as you please, unlike Christian religion they do not pass around a collection plate, and the elders of the religion are very knowledgeable about many subjects unlike alot of local Christian churches where there may be one preacher who truly understands his religion and truly practices his beliefs to his best abilities. I'm not a Jehovah's witness, thier belief systems were a little too narrow minded for my likes, but I have been to alot of meetings and studied many watchtower magazines and attended assemblies of the sort. They are not a cult just a religion that whole heartily believes what they believe, just like any religion should. Please stop assuming they are cultist, many of them are the nicest people you will ever meet.

No mention of that crackpot Harold Camping and his bogus "Rapture" predictions, even though 2 of them have been in the past year he had a few in the nineties as well. Otherwise a good list. Not sure what's worse, the ones who come up with these hairbrained ideas or the ones who believe them. Either way they should all drink the Kool-Aid so that we don't have to listen to their bullsh*t anymore.

There is never going to be an *end of the world* it's just propeganda to scare people to serving *their* religon and I say SHAME on them! :p

The actual purpose of a prophecy is to warn people what will happen if they continue down a certain path but the prophecy can be changed if people change.

The churches want you to believe that prophecys are final so you will either be part of their group or self fufill the prediction by ignorance.

The ENTIRE universe is made of energy waves and perhaps we all have had just enough positive energy to over ride the prophecies since prophices are not ever final as the future is always being changed by our actions/thoughts.

The awakening is what caused us to avoid the Y2K scenarios or it would've been real all right and we would not be debating this over the forum as we would all be scattered.
