This is the stupidest list I have yet seen on this site. It’s a fact that half these people were not redheads! Nearly all the rest are only suspected, possible redheads. And a handful are actually confirmed redheads.

Actually todd, the first evidence of human life as we know it originates from Africa, so your wrong there.
We also believe that a second, larger form of human like beings from the far north.
These days many scientists believe that the Chinese and their surrounding area are also a different strand of humanity.

As an Englishman just accidentally finding your list I have to mention Lewis Carroll. Nordic and Celtic races produced more than their fair share of Ginger
heads and on this side of the Atlantic most of us, male or female had a ginger mate at school (and after of course). Native Australians (Aborigines) produce offspring with blue or green eyes and blond or ginger hair without any interference from Europeans. Now, about ginger sheep in Scotland…….

I smiled at people like Churchill and Liz 1 – both were near enough completly bald by the end of their lives!

And what about Lizzy Siddal, the pre raphelite model? she was pretty famous and most definatly a proper red-head!
