if they were really lucky they would be dead, I think the fact that they tried to commit suicide and failed is a show of their total lack of luck.

My daughter tried to commit suicide in October of 2011. She took an almost full bottle of Anti-seizure pills called carbomazepine. She went to bed that night after ingesting at least 17 of these pills. In the morning she was unresponsive. At the hospital she stopped breathing. We were rushed to a Science Centre. There her brain activity stopped. Then her brain stem activity ceased. She was like this for four days. The only part of her working (and they don’t know why) was her heart. We were told it looks like the end but never give up hope. On the fourth day she twitched. An hour later she started “arching” her back. This is the most primitive state said her Neurosurgeon. Two hours later they took out her breathing tube. She was breathing on her own. An hour after that she opened her eyes. We cried and laughed. This was a miracle! even the Doctors said they have never seen anything like it. People who take this drug are usually at a level of 7 to 9. She was at level 80. Plus it hangs onto fatty tissue for longer doses. She will soon be in the medical books.

Had a classmate in middle school ~2001, who jumped off of a 5 story building and survived, broke both feet and arm, but he was sure glad to be alive after at the end of the school year he visited class walking with a crutches.
