@ John. I am a hockey fan from the New England area (but now live in Arizona) and your mentioning of Glenn Hall's 502 consecutive games is most impressive. For me, the great goaltender Terry Sawchuk and the number of his career shutouts (I want to say 110) is also remarkable as well. I have always considered Bobby Orr as the greatest hockey player whoever lived. Lets face it, 8 consecutive Norris Trophies for best defenseman and even more spectacular was that he won the scoring title in three consecutive seasons, A DEFENSEMAN. There not supposed to score goals but to be ready for the opposing team having the puck and to do their job by getting the puck from them and then go to be on the offense. But Bobby Orr was that transcending player who forever changed the game. Regarding Bjorn Borg, he also was my favorite tennis player to watch. Here is some real in-depth trivia for you. I was reading a back issue of Sports Illustrated a couple of years ago under the section called "Go Figure?" It said that Bjorn Borg's Blood Pressure was 65/35. To this day, I find that to be impossible, but then again, I read it in SI magazine ??!!

Glenn Hall had the greatest hockey performance ever, 502 consecutive games? Today you're lucky to see a goalie play one tenth of that. Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe had probably the greatest tennis match ever (18-16 in the fourth set tiebreaker?). Seriously this wasn't mentioned? Just for the tiebreaker!?!?!?!
