i agree with the lord of the rings bit.. but how could you say that about harry potter??? daniel radcliffe’s acting is rubbish and he ruins the films, so i don’t know here you got that from.

@ Name. I was hoping that someone would say “Forrest Gump” I read it when I was in the US NAVY when I was transiting overseas to Europe from New York. One of my comrades said to read it and you will laugh out loud by yourself….He was right and people kept telling me to “Shut Up, or else” Its a quick read (it took me 2 days to read it). Some of the book is similar to the movie, but the other accounts that are not in the movie that are in the book, are priceless. I like the section when he meets Chairman Mao of China which is not in the movie. Kudos and great choice on your part.

Trivia : The movie set for No.2, “Bladerunner” is the exact same set that was used for an episode of the original “Outer Limits” episode entitled “Demon With The Glass Hand” starring the late Robert Culp.

I disagree completely. The Godfather was the book you read on the airplane. The Godfather movie is one of the greatest films of all time. Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, John Cazale, James Caan and a host of others bring more depth, complexity and compassion to each of their characters than Puzo ever had.
