This texting fad has got to stop. Cell phones can be useful, for if your car breaks down in the middle of the highway, or if you need to contact somebody in a case of an emergency. Ipods. While handy, I've noticed at my school people tend to reclude into their ipods rather than talk to people. And we wonder why youths are more anti-social. And MTV. It's just useless drivel nowadays. All the stuff marketed (entertainment) for teenagers causes them to be lazy, apathetic, and self-centered. Geez, these are your future leaders of America. Fashion is a really dumb invention too. Just slap on enough to cover yourself up, do we really need to create a whole new world of anorexic models, and impressionable girls who starve themselves just to be thin? This whole style going and being cool with the latest trends is ridiculous, insipid, and pointless. TV isn't that bad of an invention, lol. I like watching documentaries of animals and their various enviroments. Pretty educational--it's not like I can travel to Africa or go rock-climb myself 50 feet into a cave. It's also a source of news, although they are pretty biased to the point of propaganda (Fox News *cough*). The only problem is... is well... whenever I watch sports or anything broadcast within the last 60 years or so, everyone has the the same proportions as Eric Cartman from Southpark. Mark my words, in about 20 years when blue ray has become obsolete and the next gimmick comes along, there will be a new craze sweeping the cuntry faster than The New Kids on the Block did. Get this... are your ready... it's pretty big... LITERALLY. Check it out...FULL FRAME! Ohhhh.... AHHHHHH! It's TWICE THE SIZE AS MY OLD WIDE SCREEN! You can watch T.V. shows like Family Ties and Friends... THE WAY THEY WERE INTENDED TO BE SEEN. No more stretched out heads for me! You can even watch wide screen on it! If you do some serious math you will find that the area of the screen is the same size as a wide screen only with black bars instead of a T.V. frame. By then a high tech FULL FRAME T.V. will probably run about 130 grand or so... and everyone will stand in long lines the day after Thanksgiving to get a hold of one.
