The featured article on wikipedia today (14 Jan) is about 4chan. I browsed around and couldn't find an article about "us". Do we crave that sort of immortality? (Someone connected with this site has a wiki entry!)

this site has by far been my favorite distraction from getting work done when on my computer for the last year and a half. its great to see you take so much pride and joy in your work. i will start clicking ads each time i read a list if that helps out. thanks for making a site that takes some of the guilt out of timewasting! on the other hand, damn your site for keeping me from getting work done!

I love this site. So much. It’s weird. It’s not just the content. Its just special for some reason. And this site is only a year and a half old!? That means it was just a baby when I stumbled on it. Those first few days my roommate and I stayed up for almost 3 days reading lists and wikipedia-ing the stuff in them (with pharmaceutical help of course). I can’t imagine how long that binge would last now considering the number of lists that have accumulated.
