Your mobile version is absolute junk, about half of all your list cant be viewed. I realize that this isnt the correct forum for my complaining, but a place to send e-mails isnt present on mobile either. Turning off mobile works, but the pages load slowly and are a frickin pain to navigate on my phone. Fix your mobile version please!

If anyone’s interested, you can freeze eggs. You have to crack them all. You can’t freeze them in the shell. I don’t know how they fry up but my mom used to crack them into ziploc bags & label them. Like 1doz (for scrambling for a big family) or 2-3 for recipes.

I am disappointed but somewhat smug about the fact that i already do all of these things. One-stop shopping is so easy to do these days and I grew up pre-sorting laundry and freezing everything.

You can’t freeze raw eggs because they’re mostly water and will burst. But eggs keep for longer than you think they will, and it’s easy to check if they’re good or not by putting them in a large bowl of water. If they float they’re bad, if they stand up you should use them soon, if they lie down they’re fresh.

Also other items that have large amounts of water are not good to freeze. Like most lettuces. Because water expands when it freezes it breaks down the cell walls of lettuce and it gets slimy.

i am a full time mum,and i have to do all this! hard work is what keeps me sane lol it means i have less time to think of all the stressy things…. i leave that to my fiance!
