The GOP is the only political entity which outsource their policies to outside bodies/lobbyists. Specifically, the Koch-brothers funded American Legislative Exchange Council, the Abramoff/Koch/Philip Morris/RJ Reynolds funded American for Tax Reform, and several other notable lobbies. Bills are written whole before being sent to the GOP legislators. I never ceased to be amazed how easily conservatives are led around by the GOP simply by evoking the magic words of ‘God’, ‘socialism’ and ‘Islam’.

Furthermore, you subsequently attempted to shift the topic into the role of the government and the private sector in job creation by giving YOUR personal opinion, which is completely irrelevant here. I could destroy your simplistic argument, but once again, it is irrelevant here.

Finally, the ‘most obstructionist GOP legislators ever’ is another well known fact. Jim DeMint, Eric Cantor and several other notable GOP legislators have made public statements to that effect. They have repeatedly indicated that the priority is to obstruct the Obama administration. Jim Demint’s quote is particularly reflective of the GOP’s thinking process.

“Our goal is complete gridlock for the next two years. There is no place for bi-partianship or compromise. The only acceptable outcome is total victory and any politician that disagrees will be treated as a traitor. This is war.”

The fact is, the GOP’s economy policies have for the fourth time this century crashed our economy. And this is the worst economy since the Great Depression. Instead of acknowledging that trickle down economics is a myth and tax cuts will never generate economic growth, or even compensate for the loss of federal income, they attempt to brainwash people like you with rhetoric and soundbites.

Interpret the statistics first, and check if statements are really accurate…

If shifting ‘part-time’ and ‘self-employed’ from the category of unemployed to the employed column constitutes ‘creating jobs’, then I can agree with you. But it doesn’t. Jobs were not created by this administration. Statistical manipulation was implemented big time.

And even if government did create jobs, it’ll be tax payers paying people for unnecessary jobs. A complete waste of money and no gain in the long run. Government creation of jobs is usually just bull***** and if they did do it, its really bad policy.

Businesses create jobs because they create products and services that the public is willing to pay for, thus creating real demand and a real, sustainable economy. How long can an economy sustain ‘government created’ jobs?
