Sorry Geraint, but you are wayyyyyyyy off base on these two.

Compared to today's cell phones the SMS was a pain in the tail. However, compared to being tied to a wall jack, it was incredibly convenient in its day.

Does anyone remember the movie "Jut Married"? The characters played by Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy get a laugh when they pull into view driving their ridiculously small European rental car. It's a Smart Car. Again, the entire reason the audience laughs is because of the size of the car. The car WAS the joke!
C'mon people. In 1981 Volkswagen was selling the Rabbit Diesel that got about 47 MPG highway. I owned one as a teenager. I am a bassist and I could haul my enormous bass rig in the back of that car. You don't need to make a car the size of a shoebox in order to get good gas mileage.

Hmm I wonder why dogs could need a diaper.... Jeez! There's 2 good reasons I could think of- for puppies in situations when they can't go to the bathroom constantly (car drives, learning to go outside to pee) and Oh! Maybe when the female dogs get their periods? It can litterally be a bloody mess(no pun intended) and I would much rather put a diaper on her until I could get her fixed. Oh and sometimes dogs get sick, and can lose total control of their bowels; just like humans when they're sick. Why would I euthanize a dog for any of these reasons if they're only temporary issues?! Just saying...

"Really why does the world need these, have we all gone mad? If your dog is so incapable of controlling its bodily functions there is another far simpler way – it’s called euthanasia."

What a foolish thing to write.
