I’ve had the exploding head syndrome. Twice. The first time, after I woke up (I’ve already heard of that syndrome at the time), I told my father (he had it once or more times as well) what happened, of course, I felt a feeling of anxiety. The second time, after I woke up, I found myself crying (I was extremely scared) and then I ran to my father. Am I the only kid who experiences this here (by the way, plus points for me for proper punctuation and capitalization)? Sorry that I didn’t include what happened moments before the “BANG!” (In my dream is what I mean), it’s a long story ;P.

I have exploding head syndrome! I’ve always wondered what it was when it was happening. It doesn’t happen very often but when it does it’s not long after I fall asleep and it’s like a loud clanging/buzzing sound and I mean LOUD! And it’s almost like I’m consciously hearing it but almost in a paralyzed state. I have to force myself to wake up and the harder I try the louder it gets until I finally wake up. Very weird, but I’m glad to know it’s not just me and I’m not crazy!

I’ve experienced episodes similar to Exploding Head. But I seem to remember it being more akin to a ‘clap;’ almost electrical. Weird. I kinda forgot about that.
