Marconi only patented first and Tesla was able to transmit only through a Vaccum tube when Bose did his Demonstrations in 1894.

Conservatives are notoriously bad at being able to tell what's going on around them. Gore sponsored the National High Performance Computer Act and the Information Infrastructure and Technology Act which both led to the development of technology that allowed the internet to exist. Listverse is really showing its complete lack of education putting him at #1 here.
